The game retains and improves upon all of the characteristics that were present in the previous iteration. However, the setting of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City has been changed to the city of Miami. The gameplay of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City is quite similar to that of its predecessor, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. It’s unfortunate that everyone in Vice City, from gangsters and Cubans to bikers and politicians, are in his way, and it’s up to Tommy to clear a passage through the city. Upon Sonny’s return, he becomes enraged and demands that he be given his money back. Tommy is relegated to working for his former manager Sonny Forelli due to the fact that he did not betray his “family.” Sonny helps him out with a simple drug job, but things don’t go as planned, and Tommy winds up losing everything.
Tommy Vercetti is a gangster who was just released from jail after serving a fifteen-year term for failing to testify against his associates.
